Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a form of therapy developed over 30 years of practice by Britain’s renowned Therapist, Marisa Peer.
We know from near science that neurons, the specialized brain cells, fire together and then wire together.
Before a child turns 3 they are developing a million neural connections a minute. Up until a child turns 7 the brain has its biggest growth. Even before a baby is born, the baby is picking up clues about the world - stress feelings and hormones from Mom, the voices of Mom and Dad, either loud and angry or soothing and calming. Baby can hear Mom's heartbeat.
By the time a child is 7, they have learned how to communicate and interact with the world by watching those around them. They also learn how to be in the world by how they themselves have been responded to and have had their needs met or not met.
As a child we form our beliefs and then we become those beliefs, we live those beliefs.
What if we could go back and change those beliefs that no longer work for us? If we had a Mom or Dad who didn’t know how to be a parent or suffered from depression or anxiety and that’s what we learned to be.
The way we learned to interact with the world as a child often no longer works for us as an adult. Maybe we were bullied or emotionally hurt as a child and now as adults, we are emotionally unable to deal with parts of our lives so we close it off.
Many people have abundance blocks because having material “things” or travel or success in life was never available to them. Or they grew up thinking they weren’t lovable enough, or good enough, or deserving enough. How many of us grew up being told “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” “Rich people aren’t nice people.” “You have to work morning till night to be a success.”?
With Rapid Transformational Therapy we can go back to when we were younger and change these limiting beliefs. A belief is just a thought you keep thinking. If you change the thought you can change the belief. In RTT, we show you how what may have been appropriate as a child learning to interact with the world is no longer us as adults. As adults, we get to choose how we act and react to what happens around us, not the programming from when we were children. We actually change and upgrade the programming to suit who we are now today.
Rapid Transformational Therapy uses neurolinguistic programming, cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnosis to rewire your brain and change your childhood programming to reflect who you are and what you want in today’s world of ever-increasing complexity and connectivity. RTT connects to your subconscious mind allowing you to find an issue that may be stored deep within your brain. It may not be something you consciously remember. Traditional talk therapy only deals with your conscious mind - what you can remember. That’s why RTT works so well.
How quickly does Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) work?
When you work with me, we set up a “get to know you call” so we can both find out if we are a “fit”. There has to be a level of trust between us. You need to be committed to be healed and give the time it takes to listen to the Transformation Recording. I ask you a few questions about the issue you want to fix. We then set up a date for the session. It can be in person, on Zoom, or FaceTime.
The session itself typically takes an hour and a half, sometimes more, sometimes, less. I ask you more questions about your issue - what are the symptoms, triggers, habits that contribute to your issue, when and why did it become a problem for you?
I ask about your family - do you have siblings, are both parents still in the picture? Then, we talk about what you want to get out of this. “If I could wave a magic wand, and give you what it is that you desire, what would that be?”
I write down the words you use so I can give them back to you during the session.
Clients recognize their own words during hypnosis and their mind is more likely to take them in.
Our conversation might take about 10 or 20 minutes, depending on how much time you need.
Then we get to the hypnosis part. The actual time in hypnosis maybe 45 minutes to an hour. Being hypnotized feels like meditation. In fact, it is a guided meditation.
I can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do while in hypnosis. You are very aware of what’s happening, in fact, many people are hyperaware, just like your subconscious mind is all the time. If there is a noise nearby or someone walked into the room you would be very aware of it.
We go back to a time when your “issue or problem” started when you were a child or younger adult.
Then find the cause of it. Then we rewire and reprogram your mind with the new thoughts and ideas that you want, that fit the person you are today (as you told me during our conversation).
I record the transformation part of our session to give to you to keep. It’s custom-made for you and only you, using many of the words you gave me in our conversations.
After the session, I call you about a week later to see how you are progressing, if any issues may have come up if you have any questions.
Then, again, I call you 2 weeks after that to check in with you.
If your issues are multiple or complex, we may need more than one session. Most people only need one unless they have separate issues they want to deal with.
What is my commitment?
You make a commitment to listen to the recording for at least 21 days. It typically takes that long to form a new habit and have it settled in your mind. You can then listen to the recording a couple of times a week for as long as you want.
